Kuala Lumpur: Preparations for the Panorama International Literature Festival (PILF) 2026 are progressing steadily in Malaysia, following a series of strategic stakeholder engagements led by Dr. Zainatul Shuhaida Abdul Rahman, Director for ASEAN Countries.

Her on-ground meetings with key cultural, literary, and institutional stakeholders mark a significant step toward strengthening international collaboration and laying the groundwork for the upcoming physical edition of PILF 2026 in Malaysia, planned in conjunction with the Year of Visiting Malaysia 2026. The engagements reflect the broader mission of the Writers Capital International Foundation to connect cultures, nations, and creative communities through literature.

The initiative has received strong support from strategic partners including INSAN, FiTA, MTS, DBP, MOTAC, ASTRO and JKKN, whose goodwill and collaboration play a vital role in advancing this global cultural initiative. The contribution of Tri Golden Heritage has also been acknowledged as part of this evolving journey.

Bringing together writers and thinkers from over 90 countries through both physical and global platforms is a complex and sustained endeavour, requiring shared vision, trust, and long-term commitment. Under Dr. Zainatul’s leadership, the Malaysia chapter of PILF 2026 is expected to emerge as a significant milestone in international literary collaboration.

The Panorama International Literature Festival 2026 is envisioned as a meaningful gathering that will welcome writers, thinkers, and cultural leaders from across the world to Malaysia, reaffirming the role of literature as a bridge between cultures and nations.
