Athens, Greece | 4 July 2026: The Global Vision Summit reached another significant milestone on the concluding day of its European Edition with the official launch of its dedicated international website, www.globalvisionsummit.org, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the Summit’s continuing global journey.

The website was formally unveiled during the closing session of the Global Vision Summit 2026 – European Edition held in Athens, Greece, and is designed to serve as the central international platform for the Summit’s activities, bringing together participants, institutions, partners, and delegates from around the world while providing comprehensive information about its programmes, editions, initiatives, leadership, and future developments.

The launch represents more than the introduction of a new website. It signifies the continued evolution of the Global Vision Summit as a long-term international movement dedicated to leadership, education, culture, innovation, research, entrepreneurship, and global cooperation.

The Global Vision Summit was envisioned and founded by Prof. Preeth Padmanabhan Nambiar, Founder and President of Writers Capital International Foundation, as an international platform that would encourage meaningful dialogue among leaders, educators, researchers, authors, artists, entrepreneurs, diplomats, policymakers, and changemakers from diverse nations and disciplines. Conceived as an initiative of the Foundation, the Summit reflects its broader mission of building bridges between cultures, institutions, and communities through knowledge, creativity, and international collaboration.

Headquartered in Mysore, India, the Global Vision Summit draws upon the city’s rich educational, cultural, and intellectual heritage as the permanent centre of its global vision and administration. While Mysore serves as the Global Headquarters, Athens, Greece has become the home of the Summit’s annual European Edition and the location of its European Corporate Office, creating a meaningful bridge between two historic centres of civilisation, learning, and culture.

Since its inception, the Summit has steadily expanded its international presence. The successful European editions held in Athens have welcomed participants from numerous countries, creating opportunities for interdisciplinary dialogue, cultural exchange, academic interaction, and international networking. The Summit has also become a platform for celebrating excellence through initiatives such as the Global Icon Awards, the Starlit Award Night, and international book launches featuring authors from around the world.

A key figure in the development of the Summit’s European activities has been Irene Doura Kavadia, whose unwavering commitment and leadership have contributed significantly to the growth of the initiative in Greece. Having coordinated the Summit’s European programmes from their early stages, she now serves as Vice-President of the Global Vision Summit, reflecting her important role in advancing its international mission.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Preeth Padmanabhan Nambiar described the launch of the website as an important step towards strengthening the Summit’s global identity and expanding its international reach.

“The Global Vision Summit was envisioned as a platform that would continue to grow beyond geographical boundaries. The launch of our dedicated website creates a permanent international home where people, institutions, and ideas can come together throughout the year, not only during the days of the Summit. It reflects our commitment to building an enduring global movement founded on dialogue, collaboration, education, culture, and humanitarian values.”

The newly launched website will provide information about the Summit’s leadership, programmes, Global Icon Awards, registration, international partnerships, publications, news, and future editions, including the forthcoming Global Vision Summit India Edition, which will be hosted from its Global Headquarters in Mysore, India.

As the curtains came down on another successful European Edition in Athens, the launch of www.globalvisionsummit.org reaffirmed the Summit’s long-term vision of creating a truly international platform where ideas transcend borders, cultures connect, and collaboration leads to meaningful global progress.
